How to set up online references.

Qualifications

To set up qualifications for the referee, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Masters>Main Master>Referee Qualification.
  • Enter all the qualifications you want to include in your referee form. These will serve as the qualifications you reference.

Positions

To set up positions for the referee:

  1. Go to Masters> Placement Master>Position Master.

  2. Enter all the positions you want to include in your referee form. These will be the positions you reference.

 

Mapping Documents

To create document mappings for online references:

  1. Navigate to Masters>Member Master>Documents.
  2. Under the appropriate document type, add a new document description for each reference.
  3. Create the required number of documents for your applicants. For example, if you need two references, create two documents titled "Online Reference 1" and "Online Reference 2."

 

Email Templates Type and Detail

To set up the email template type and detail: 

  1. Navigate to Masters>Main Master>Email templates Type and Masters>Main Master>Email templates Details
  2. Create the appropriate email that you would like to send to the referee once the applicant has given their details

Referee Settings

To set up the referee settings:

  1. Navigate to Masters>Main Master>Referee Settings. 
  2. Complete all the sections in Referee Check Settings

 

Customise Referee Form 

  1. Navigate to Masters>Main Master>Customise Referee's Page
  2. Complete all the section in Customise Referee's Page

Items/questions cannot be deleted once they have been answered by a reference (as this would change the question on all previous reference forms).

To be ‘removed’ from reference form question must be changed to ‘Optional’ and ‘Hide.

 

Make the Referee's available on the applicant portal. 

  1. Navigate to Masters>Member Master>Customise Recruitment Stages
  2. Edit the 'Employment References'. 
    Make sure the Compliance Required is 'YES' and Hide Stage to exclude in Applicant Portal is 'NO'. It's up to you whether you would like to make the references Mandatory

    Please note: to make the references appear in the wheel of the applicant portal, references need to made mandatory. 
  3. Navigate to Masters>Member Master>Customise Applicant Portal Menus
  4. Click edit on references, Complete all details.
