MVR Error: Member not found with supplied information
If your member's MVR comes back with an error message stating that the member was not found with supplied information, please verify the employee's member number, TFN, name, date of birth, and fund details before resubmitting.
Common reasons
- Incorrect member number.
- Incorrect TFN.
- Mismatch in the member's first name, last name, or date of birth.
- The employee is not yet registered with that super fund.
- The employee has provided the wrong fund details or member number.
- The member account has been closed or transferred.
This is a business validation error from the super fund, not a technical failure.
What should be checked
- Verify the employee's member number.
- Confirm the TFN is correct.
- Check the employee's name and DOB exactly match the fund's records.
- If all details are correct, ask the employee to contact their super fund to confirm their membership details.
