πLong Service Leave Report
The Long Service Report feature has been significantly improved, and the report will now be generated according to the enhancements detailed below:
1. New Long Service Leave Configuration Settings
A new configuration setting for the Long Service Leave is added as 'Apply Default Long Service Leave to All Shifts' in the Application Settings of the Staff Portal. This setting enables the default behavior of Long Service Leave (LSL) to all shifts throughout the booking process. It also helps to streamline shift creation and ensures that LSL is applied consistently across single and multiple bookings, thereby minimising manual intervention, and enhancing overall workflow efficiency.
How to Set Long Service Leave Settings?
The Apply Default Long Service Leave to All Shifts setting is added to the Application Settings β System Configuration β Other Settings of the Staff Portal, and its default value is set to ON.
When this flag is set to:
- ON β the Long Service Leave checkbox will be automatically selected during the Single Booking, Multi Booking, and Unmanaged Job in the Staff Portal. Any shifts created through the Client Portal or Finance Portal will also have Long Service Leave applied by default. This setting ensures that all shifts are treated as Long Service Leave unless manually modified
- OFF β the Long Service Leave functionality will operate as per the standard procedure i.e., this Long Service Leave checkbox will remain unselected during the Single Booking, Multi Booking, and Unmanaged Job in the Staff Portal, Client Portal, and Finance Portal. You can manually select the LSL checkbox during shift creation

πMember Fatigue Management Optimisation
In this version, the Member Fatigue Management feature has been significantly optimised to enhance its functionality and performance. These enhancements are implemented to ensure compatibility with the SCHADS Award. Below are the key details related to the optimisation of the Member Fatigue Management feature:

The system verifies the uniqueness of the new/existing rule based on Control Measure, Restriction Type (as Shift Type), New Shift Booking to Restrict, Apply Start Date, and Apply End Date
-
Fatigue Rules are now conditionally applied in all the Broadcast Shifts
- Introduced new feature 'Exclude Same Day Shift Check' that applies specifically to the fatigue rules based on "Shift Type"
- Introduced new features that apply specifically to the fatigue rules based on "Hours Type" to align with SCHADS awards:
- Hours gap between Contiguous Sleepover shifts
- Exclude Sleepover Hours
- Finance Confirmed Hours Considered Upon Shift Confirmation
The detailed Member Fatigue Management Optimisations article will be released soon. Stay connected π.

You can nominate shift type for other shift worked hours using the new setting 'Nominate Shift type for other shift worked hours durations to automate the shift splitting' in the Finance Application Settings in Staff Portal. The other shift details provided by the staff in the Staff Portal will be visible to the member in the Member App. The member can review/update the details provided by the staff for the shift.
Finally, the other shift details submitted for each shift will be processed in the Confirm Shifts/Timesheets Verification screen for members within the Finance Portal.
