FAQs

Why is there a difference in the total superannuation for the same time period in the Payroll summary report and the Super Clearing House Report?

The difference in the total superannuation between the two reports can be attributed to how each report handles salary sacrifice contributions. In the Payroll summary report, salary sacrifice contributions may not be included in the superannuation total as they are often listed separately under deductions. On the other hand, the Super Clearing House Report typically includes both salary sacrifice and normal superannuation contributions in its total, providing a more comprehensive view of the total superannuation paid for the period.
