What is Single Touch Payroll (STP)?
Single Touch Payroll (STP) is a government program designed to make business reporting easier. Employers, or their intermediaries, can report payments like salaries, wages, pay-as-you-go (PAYG) withholding, and super contributions directly to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) from their payroll system. This reporting happens simultaneously when employees are paid. If your business uses Entire OnHire, it supports STP through SBR2 – ebMS3.
Who Needs to Use STP? - Employers with 20 or more employees are required by law to use STP from 1 July 2018.

Submission Responses:

Queued: This status means that your STP files have been placed in a queue to be sent to the ATO. They are waiting for processing.

Pushed: When the status is "Pushed," it indicates that your STP files have been successfully sent from your system to the ATO and are now in their possession, waiting for further processing.

Responded: "Responded" signifies that the ATO has acknowledged the submission by responding to it. This response could include various messages or information related to your submission.
