How to Update Document Settings?

  1. Select the pencil found in the far-left column for the document you wish to edit.
  2. Adjust the field you wish to change.
  3. Select the green tick to save the changes made.

The settings above can be used to:

  • Verification Required: if activated, an internal staff member will have to approve the document before it is considered active against a member's profile - for example, a recruiter may need to verify a driver license during the application process when uploaded by a member through the portal
  • Start Date: if activated, this particular document will need to have a start date attached which indicates the beginning of the document being active/valid
  • Show to Member App: if activated, this will allow members to upload/view the document via their app 
  • Show to Applicants: if activated, this will be an option for applicants on the applicant portal during their recruitment/onboarding process
  • Expiry Date: this will require an expiry date be added to this document which will suspend a member when it expires - this is part of the Document Expiry Program
  • Reference Number: this will add the option to add a reference number to these documents
