Member Master - Qualification/Classification - How to Create a New Qualification?

Your Qualification and Expertise structure is one of the most important parts of your Entire OnHire system. Together they are the key criteria used for onboarding, bookings, allocations, payroll, and invoicing.

Create a New Qualification
  • Access Masters > Member Master > Qualification/Classifications.

  • Select 'Add new Qualification / Role'.
  • Enter data in the mandatory fields and any optional settings.

Qualification Settings

Industry:

- If you don’t select an industry, this qualification will appear regardless of the industry against the profile.

- If you select 1 or more industries, this allows the applicant to work across both industries as that role.

Code:

- This is the short-hand/abbreviation that will appear when rostering via the app and on payslips.

Please note: This cannot be updated once saved, so be mindful to make it something you will commit to. This will become greyed out

Qualification/Role:

- This is the role’s name. You can change it if you want to rename it in the future.

Show/Must for Applicants:

- Do you want to receive applicants for this role, or is it purely internal only?

Photo Upload Required:

- Would you like the applicant to upload a profile photo when applying?

Sequence No:

- This is the order in which they appear in the drop-down when applying.

Registration Details:

- Is registration details required for onboarding?

Upload Resume Required:

- Is a resume required to apply, or can they submit an application without a resume?

Status:

- The status is either Active or Inactive.

Important Note:

- Do not make any status inactive if you still have members or applicants mapped to this as you will “lose” them in the system. Please report, update to remove it and ensure they are assigned to another qual, and then make inactive in the master.

Step 2

After making the status inactive, you will need to select the documents that are relevant to that qualification for onboarding/compliance.

Review and Update Document Linking to Qualifications

  1. Access Masters > Member Master > Qualifications / Classifications

2.  Expand the arrow next to the qualification you want to add/remove from.

3. Select the box next to the document(s) you wish to link/unlink to the qualification.

4. Click Save once you have selected the document(s) to link.
