FAQ: How to Set Webex as Default Calling App for Click to Dial
Overview
By default, TEL links on your device may launch VXT, even if Webex is installed. If you'd prefer TEL links to open with Webex, please follow the steps below. Note: A Webex license is required for this functionality.
Why are TEL links opening in VXT instead of Webex?
VXT is the default handler for TEL links. To override this behavior and set Webex as the default, your system must recognize Webex as a licensed handler for TEL links.
