FAQ - Advanced Infection Control

If a member is already booked into 2 shifts and 1 shift comes as an infection are staff notified or do they have to go and look at each members shifts individually.

After you have added an infection in for a service location, any member that is booked you will have to ensure that the member is not booked into any other shifts within the restriction period. If they are you will have to discuss with member and remove them from shifts.

Do you manually have to go in and delete the infection when client says they no longer have it?

Yes, if a client lets you know they no longer have an infection, you can delete the infection by editing the infection on the service location. Crossing the infections out of the list and saving. This will remove the infections from the client. 

Why does the infection not update when a shift is broadcasted?

The shifts have been updated with an infection do not automatically change over when an infection has been created. To fix this for broadcasts shifts please follow steps below - 

Adding infection - 

To update a broadcasted shift that an infection has been added to, please edit the shift, add the infection in and press confirm. 

Removing Infection - 

The infection will not remove automatically when you remove the infection from the updated list. Before you remove an infection from a client site, any shift that is sitting in broadcasted, please remove the members from the broadcasted section, change the infection to be removed and then re-add the broadcast back in.
