How to Update and Manage Expertise in the App
Expertise Management Configuration
The ability for members to add or edit their own expertise within the app is controlled by a configurable flag, managed on the back end. Support staff can update this setting as required, allowing agencies to choose whether members can freely add and update their expertise, or be restricted to viewing only the expertise assigned to them. When the configuration is set to ‘locked’, members will only be able to see the expertise attached to their profile and will not have the option to make changes themselves. When enabled, members can manage and update their expertise directly in the app.
This flexible, support-managed approach ensures agencies can align expertise management with their operational and compliance needs, providing both self-management for members or tighter administrative control, as required.
